The Brentwood Drum Corps, in celebrating it's 40th Aniversary this year, is Brentwood's longest established youth marching band.

The boys and girls who have performed with the band during this time, have helped to give it it's own inimitable style.

The Brentwood Drum Corps has supported it's own Home Town over these 40 years and have been the town's ambassador, not only over the Home Counties Fete and Carnical circuit, but also in Roth and Hilpostein in Bavaria, as well as leading the prestigious Jersey Battle of Flowers parade, in the Channel Islands.

However, time has come that the band is in need of new members. Various forms of recruitment techniques have been used, to no avail. However it is felt revitalisationcould be achieved by new adult assistance. This situation would be an ideal opportunity for a former Bandmaster, COrp Director or a Musical/Drill Instructor to return to the world of youth marching bands.

All enquiries should be directed to the Chairman of the Brentwood Drum Corps, Mr. Bill Plummwe MBE, on 01277 226402.
